What We Do
CommonBond lowers the cost of graduate education in the U.S. Our platform saves borrowers money on their student loans and allows investors to earn a financial return.
CommonBond is a values-driven financial services company and we are reimagining finance as community, not commodity. Our mission is to deliver savings through superior products, simplicity through technology, service that empowers our borrowers, and social impact via our Social Promise to make education accessible in the developing world.
The company launched at Wharton in 2012 and, on the heels of raising over $100 million, expanded to 25 MBA programs in 2013. We now serve over 700 graduate programs across the U.S., and we are working on expanding to serve even more students and graduates in 2015.
